Reporting on War - Challenges on the Battlefield and in the Newsroom I'm off to MIT for an Iraq war-coverage discussion, which will be interesting to compare to the Oct. 30 panel at Michigan State linked above. The 97-minute video (rm stream) includes CNN war coverage followed by a panel with John Bebow, who reported from Iraq for the Detroit News; Suzanne Kelly and Stefan Simons, CNN International; Bill McWhirter, MSU School of Journalism professor and former war correspondent for Time, and Taro Yamasaki, Pulitzer-winning Detroit Free Press photographer.
