Celebrating Bloomsday June 16 is almost over and a combination of Web browser, Javascript and blogging software peculiarities just caused me to lose a much more interesting block of text than the one you are reading right now. Pardon my stream of consciousness. With luck, no one is reading this... and I'll have time to restore something close to its intended state (which with clever transitions and polished prose drew together the various Web links listed below) before this page has any confused visitors. If I don't get around to that, perhaps that's appropriate too. For now, however, I'm going out for a pint or two before the pubs close.
