Tennessee State of the State Online Note for journalism students and other taxpayers: If you missed Gov. Phil Bredesen's State of the State budget message last night, the text is already online at http://www.tennessee.gov/governor/ Just follow the link at the bottom of that page. Bredesen's "Virtual Budget Room" has PDF files of the speech, related press releases, audio excerpts and about 12 megabytes of budget documents. Tuesday morning the site said video was coming soon (It may be there by now.)... which led me to poke around and discover an impressive "Newsroom" archive of the governor's past speeches, including both video and audio. 9:56:56 AM    comment []
