Regional Blogger Get-Togethers Tennessee webloggers are getting together in cyberspace at a Rocky Top Brigade "Volunteer Tailgate Party" hosted by Mike Hollihan of Memphis.  He calls it "a Whitman Quality Sampler of RTB writings, to tempt you into reading blogs you may not yet know that you'll love. " (Thanks for the kind words about mine, Mike.) Meanwhile, over the mountains, UNC Chapel Hill is playing host to a Triangle Bloggers Conference on Feb. 12 with some notable out-of-towners, including Ed Cone, Dave Winer and Dan Gillmor on the agenda, along with local stars like Paul Jones. And plans for BlogNashville in May are still in the works. Back here in Knoxville, and back in cyberspace, SKBubba also maintains a handy aggregator of RTB weblogs, which fits into my semester schedule better than any of the out-of-town gatherings, tempting as they are. 3:42:05 PM    comment []
