First we show up, then we see what happens.

I got this joke in a status report:

A guy walks into a bar and says to the bartender, "I write software in managed code, therefore I have no security exploits." The bartender responds, "Sorry pal, we have a house rule: we don't serve people who have already been drinking."

Inside ATL String class(es). I think the title says it all.  Check it out here. Enjoy!  [Justin Rudd's Radio Weblog][Sam Gentile's Radio Weblog]

I'm so glad I program almost exclusively in C#/.NET...

Well, I went off-line for about a month. So, what happen?

I flew out to Seattle, finished my thesis, flew back to Cleveland to successfully (!) defend it, and then I started work at Microsoft.

I'm a Software Design Engineer/Test (SDET) in the .NET Web Services Runtime group. (My group is the one with Don Box [the page references my direct manager, Sujay] and Keith Ballinger.)

Unfortunately, there's not much I can say about what I'm doing there. Mu-ha-ha. But we are hiring, so please email me with your resume and I'll forward it on...

Eventually, soon, this blog will move to www.jlambert.com; now that I've finished my thesis, I can update my personal website, etc.
