I borrowed a laptop at work today for the next week or so: I'm doing presentations, etc for our "security push". However, it reminded me that there's one thing I've never had good luck with: power management. It started throwing scary messages in the event log about ACPI bios read/writes and suspends at random times. I don't know why; it's just never, ever worked for me, on any machine I've ever used.
