I have to give Seattle an A for the fireworks at Gas Works Park, but an F- for public transit: they were running the normal Sunday schedule and had no extra buses. We ended up waiting for 2 hours/missing our transfer and just called a cab. Cincinnati does an awesome job: multiple, dedicated pick-up points, clearly marked signs, etc.
We went to the Emerald City Cat Fanciers Cat Show in Everett today (Java needed for some reason); it was an interesting experience. I'm thinking about showing Mishka at one of them as a Household Pet. It'd be a good cocktail party story, at least.
