I decided not to do the paper from my thesis: mostly ran out of time, plus I got sick, and work got busy, and now my Dad's visiting. I did get it down to 17 pages, though, so I might give it another go next time. Oh well.

BTW, I was only referring to code that I own: "test"/non-shipping code, utilities for me at home, patent prototypes, etc.

I have a tendency to tend towards overuse of these things; one reason is that I was the Teaching Assistant for the graduate-level object-oriented programming course at my school. The other reason is that I just seem to like those words way too much.

(Yeah, I'm going back to sleep now and hoping I didn't offend anyone at work who actually, you know, ships stuff publicly... I need to learn to stop writing after being awake for more than eighteen hours. Well, not that cogent arguments are one of my strengths at any time before that eighteen hour mark. Maybe the best thing would be for me to stop talking about technical things altogether. Hmm.)
