Paresh Suthar, a developer on the Groove Concept Development team has a new weblog.  Paresh, Jack Ozzie and Phil Stanhope are the guys responsible for the Sharepoint work.  Previously Paresh was in Developer Services, and before that was a core contributer to the product.  He knows a lot about the way Groove works - more than most people here!  Welcome to radio, Paresh.

eWeek has another cool article on our Sharepoint integration work.  It also highlights our relationship with HP:

"We have the last mile problem on the teleco front, where we have lots of broadband but we have to get it to the desktop; for me on the collaboration side of things Groove can solve the last mile problem in terms of knowledge workers collaborating," Samuel said. "It lets me [connect] customers, suppliers…and people not associated with our internal networks."

Inforworld reports on our Sharepoint work with Microsoft.  Jeff Raikes showed the demo to the press and analysts during the .NET briefing.

To that end, Jeff Raikes, group vice president of Microsoft's productivity and business services group, in his address here Wednesday, announced Office XP Web Services Toolkit 2.0. The tool uses XML to enable knowledge workers to unlock data within the organization, according to Microsoft. Raikes also touted a pact inked earlier this week with Groove Networks that will see the two companies integrate Groove's Workspace with Microsoft SharePoint Team Services, to enable information sharing among project teams regardless of geographic location.
