This shows me that the Christian religion is actually being sodomized by these perverted wacho religious nut-cases who agree with the anti-gay quotes above, and that the "Marriage Protection Amendment" should be more truly named as the "HATE Amendment" or the "Re-elect Bush Gimmick". It also means that the "Right Wing" actually prefers that gay people should live in sin.
I've never understood why so many religious types get so het up about homosexuality. If "God hates fags" that much surely he would have prohibited homosexuality as one of the Ten Commandments. Adultery is directly forbiden by God but allowed in law. Thou shalt not kill doesn't end with "except gays."
Jim Henley thinks that just like the "collapse of the Berlin Wall" that this whole phony issue could disappear very, very quickly, very, very peacefully and with the gravest joy, for everybody when the legal barriers against same-sex marriage fall away. That may explain most of the hysteria and desperation of the (Marriage-Protector) zealot Republicans.
