Trans Fats, or hydrogenated vegetable oils, are now recognized as a major health risk. The Food industry uses them in nearly all their products - their advantage is that they have a very long shelf life.

Most of our biscuits, cereals, snacks and fried fast food are full of them. Most margarine is hydrogenated vegetable oil. Expect a huge shakeup as consumers start to pay attention
