I wish I had known about this offer, when I was told an animal would be put down if I didn't adopt it or get it rescued by a rescue organization. I chose to get a rescue organization involved because I did not want to add more pets to my two pet household. I even asked if I could foster as a resident of Montgomery County, instead of adopting and on the very day this offer was published, August 11, I  was told it wasn't an option...
