I wonder sometimes if getting really, really healthy, especially using exercise and supplements and a good diet, may end up expanding my muscular and cardiovascular potential to such a degree that I eventually become like Charlie in Flowers for Algernon, and experience a breakdown, a retrogressive descent from fitness back into flabbiness into extreme lassitudinous obesity.
I also wonder if supplements such as creatine, which some studies show also enhance neuromuscular function, would help people like concert pianists or especially percussionists. Maybe even banjo players.
