Die Augenfalle | Eye-Trap is a short story that was produced simultaneously in 35mm film and high-definition 1080 24P digital formats. The story was scripted and directed by Elena Alvarez and produced and photographed by Thomas Repp, BVK. Repp explains, We wanted to make a direct comparison between these two different types of media used to produce the same story, cast and crew in realistic circumstances. We wanted to see for ourselves how they performed during production in identical situations. We also wanted to judge the dramatic impact that can be attributed to the choice of media.
