Saturday in Columbus: PBR Parking Lot Art Party. The High Strung, Nick Tolford and DJ Derek DiCenzo are performing at a cool event today in downtown Columbus:

It's all going down Saturday from 4-8pm on the NW corner of E. Spring and 3rd St. downtown. It's free to get in and there will be free food (two meat, one veggie option), free PBR t-shirts being hand silk-screened to your specifications (you pick the design, t-shirt & ink colors), fun art stuffs (including live art by some of Columbus' most talented artists), awesome bands and $2 PBR's (of which ALL the money raised will go to The Ohio Art League!). So, people should come with cash in hand and ready to drink! :)
Earwig's Lizard McGee will be your emcee for the day. Nick Tolford & Co. will go on around 5:30pm. The High Strung will play around 7pm. DJ Derek DiCenzo will be spinning old soul, garage and rare grooves before, between and after the bands. But, people must not dally; remember it's only from 4-8pm. And folks shouldn't be scared if it rains a little - perhaps they could pack a small umbrella - we'll have a few tents set-up. Rain or shine, I guarantee we will be partying!
