So I got engaged. April 12th actually. We went to Nana for dinner which was excellent. More than excellent really. I've got to find a way to get rich, if for no other reason than to eat there more than once a year.

Then we went to White Rock Lake on an unusually cold evening for Dallas this time of year. We sat out on a dock facing downtown with a candle, a book of Keats poetry and I popped the question. Lucky for me, she said yes. We're in the pre-planning stages now but it's pretty exciting. I hope she'll put up with me for another 40 years or so.

Ok, it's been forever. Almost a month in fact. But lots of things have been going on, not to mention, I've been less than interested in writing. But I'm back. More to follow on what's been going on and what will be going on in the immediate future.
