Played an impromtu gig at Caspar Last night........the players were Christy Wells and Pilar Duran from Frida's Circus, Roger Fritz and Bill Bottrell from the Stokemen, Michael Bissen on drums, Garth Beckington, and Calvin....you know I've known Calvin for some time and I still don't know his last name....I'll get it....it was sort of like The Rolling Thunder Review in 2002....Everyone got in some good songs and the Caspar Inn was shining in it's own peculiar beautiful light....many good friends that are by now family......tomorrow we'll go to the Blue Ox Beer Festival in Fort Bragg and listen to Gene Parsons and Meridian Green, then drive to Potter Valley to play at the tiny but very fun Potte Valley Cafe.......great food, bar, people and of course music........cheers! 9:31:05 AM    comment []
