Juvenile drug abuse center set to open (Oklahoma)
NewsOK story - " long-awaited 21-bed facility for juveniles addicted with drugs will open Monday, said Ben Brown, deputy commissioner of drug and substance abuse. The facility, to serve juveniles statewide, will be the only one operated by the state, which contracts with private vendors for about 60 more beds."
Psychiatric Disorders Common Among Detained Youth

Story in Newsday - "Gov. George Pataki signed a bill into law that mandates licensing for New Yorkers who provide non-drug mental health treatment, such as marriage and family counseling. The measure sets education and training requirements for therapists earning the title "mental health counselor," and defines the levels of care they can offer."
