Maybe it's just me, put are all the blogs that are using FreeRoller totally screwing up with their RSS feeds? I get the strangest RSS behavior from folks like Rickard, Ara, and Anthony. Makes it hard to see what's new and what is from October. I believe Mike just commented on a FreeRoller post from October, maybe he is having the same trouble?

So I'll be blogging much more now that I figured out I could blog from my desktop, even though my Radio install is on my laptop. Basically, I can open up the local webserver on my laptop to be accessed by my desktop. As much as I've bitched about Radio, it's actually pretty sweet...

So I'm looking to get a new car soon. Currently I have a 1999 Mercury Cougar (V6 model). It's OK, I guess, but too many electrical breakdowns have made it clear I bought an American car, so my next purchase is going to be foreign for sure. I'm looking at:

• Mini Cooper S
• Subaru Impreza WRX
• Lexus IS300
• Audi A4 3.0 Quattro
• Honda Accord Coupe EX
• VW Passat GLX

I know, wide range of prices and types of cars, but they all appeal to me in one way or another. I went for a test drive in a Mini yesterday. I had to dive 20 miles to the dealer, and when I got there, I was told I couldn't drive the S, only the normal Cooper. What the hell? They said they only have 3 on the lot and want to only give test drives to people who are ready to get one. Umm... how can I be ready to get one if I've never driven it... stupid dealer.

The Honda looks nice, but doesn't come with a manual transmission, so I think I'm going to have to rule it out. The WRX is very tempting, I'm going to test one out next weekend. And then the Passat, A4, and IS300 all look very nice and are at the cusp of my price range. The A4 quattro is on the top of my list right now, I'd just need to find a way to get the money for it!

So, anyone out there that owns any of these cars? Got an opinions? Anyone living in southern California and looking for a 99 Cougar? :)

So I bought Battlefield 1942 today to run on my new Athlon XP 2200 and Geforce4 Ti4200 upgrade. Pretty sweet game, except that it doesn't run that great on this setup, which is amazing, since my setup is almost as good as it comes. For example, the Unreal Tournament 2003 demo benchmarks at 157 FPS at 1024x768 with highest details. In 1942 sometimes gets down to 10FPS when the action gets heavy... gimme a break! OK, enough fun and games, I need to get back to work... this 24 hour long computer upgrade has wasted too much time as it!
