Frank has too many CDs. Remember "High Fidelity"? Lucky for me. Because I am a cheap bum and will loan comics in exchange for CDs.

hurrah for fair use! :)

After laying off the computer for a week, and blowing away all my old blog entries - I'm back. yay!

I'm diving deeper and deeper into this Cocoa thing. Lots of RSS feeds are flowing through NetNewsWire to keep my brain up to date on OS X dev stuff.

One thing I've noticed with the Mac community is that - well there is one. Coming from Java land the last 2 years it's really refreshing to see everyone is just so darn _nice_ and helpful.

Also - it's a little funny to see some people coming from C complaining that the CoreFramework and AppKit are so large. There's maybe 200 classes and protocols (interfaces in Java speak) that are defined.

Me? I'm looking at this the frameworks and comparing the JDK 1.4's 1821 classes and thinking : "hmm... Cocoa is kind of... small. neat!".

Somehow this reminds me of university and somene from Sudbury thought Waterloo was a 'really big city'.

tomorrow is a cancer fund raiser with dessert night. I always look forward to mowing down large portions of dessert before i got out to that thing - the only downside being I know I'll get a sugar headache about half way through and curse myself for forgetting that the same thing happened last year.

it's like those damn butter tarts. you steel yourself in preparation of the sweetness, but you're never quite ready.

Radio bites me in the bum again. The support folks save the day though.

If you can't upstream to the weblogs.com server after using the FTP option - read this link. It'll fix your problems.
