My regular 'The Week in Sustainable Business' (published, as fate would have it, every other week) is up in the 'Sustainability Sundays' at section at WorldChanging.com.

So now you know, if you didn't already, that the 'box office records' routinely reported to be broken are all dollar records, and that actual attendance and popularity of films, by any measure, are in a long-term and steep decline.

OTOH, there's the economy-of-scale busting capability of networks and the long tail to consider. But exploiting that opportunity demands the agility that is typically hard to evoke and sustain in large bureaucracies.
