Most of the things that happen that are good or bad in the world, happen not because people are either asymmetrically virtuous or asymmetrically despicable, but rather just because people are in a system that encourages that they do the bad thing.

I fully agree with that. "Don't attribute to malice what can be fully explained by bad system".      

Interview with Robert Rodriguez. He's the orginal DYI man. He did "Desperado". And "Spy Kids" (which movie rings a bell in your mind?).
