Pennsylvania has a "Do Not Call Law". If your number is on the list, telemarketers are not supposed to call you. Why would anyone not be on the list? Interesting that calls on behalf of political candidates are not covered.
The AG has announced an action against a mortgage company alleged to have breached the law. The telemarketer indicated "it had computer difficulties" removing the blocked telephone numbers from its system.
