Back from VACATION. You know, it's an absolute blessing not having TV, Radio, Newspaper and other informational device ruining your optimism. I was quite amazed to hear all the stuff I "missed" in two weeks... Anyway, I decided to change the weblog a bit and provide some useful and optimistic news. The Man Who Will Fall to Earth. A 58-year-old Frenchman plans to skydive from a balloon at the edge of space and break the sound barrier. If all goes well, he won't break his neck, too. Dermot McGrath reports from Paris. [Wired News]
