My Yearly Big Snow Picture

A startling, touch-of-reality statistic from an article in the Detroit News

General Motors currently has more retirees than employees, and their retiree prescription drug cost was $924 million last year.

That certainly has multiple and different ramifications for the company's bottom line, investors, current employees, and retirees. And this example is just the tip of the iceberg.

A Great Weekend

  • A great visit with my honey over Thanksgiving dinner
  • Followed by Shootout basketball games at the Arena thanks to Ski Boy.
  • Six inches of gorgeous new snow
  • Relaxed around the house
  • Started on two projects for the Slingerland Institute
  • Went to see Seabiscuit with my Honey
  • Caught up on my reading about the quality of earnings. I needed to find out if the info on my blogsite needed adding to
  • A closed or inactive stock market
  • No emails that required major attention
  • Two evenings of watching the Great Alaska Shootout games on ESPN and sipping eggnog
  • And there is still Sunday
