Chapter Two of My 10/6 to 11/2 Plan
My sports teams and candidates always lose (Seattle Mariners lost 99 games this season). Therefore, I have decided to concede that my presidential candidate has lost as well as my U.S. Senate candidate and just adjust to that fact. I no longer need to listen to any political pundits, ads, analysis, nor debates because I know the outcome of the election.
Instead, I'm turning my full attention to the baseball play offs and the World Series. I AM going to be on the winning side of this event. Finally, I will be cheering for a winning team/candidate-----The New York Yankees!!!!

No More Listening to Politics Until Election Night!!
Now, if I could just live by that statement. I'm afraid my candidate is going to step in a cow pile and will not be able to extricate himself---as if my watching could prevent that from happening. I watched the VPs last night with the mute button engaged about three-fourths of the time.
Since between now and Nov. 2, I cannot effect the outcome of this election, I must use my time and emotional energies in a more productive way. (I did get three weeks worth of ironing completed last night.)
Here's to moving ON. Hopefully!
