It has just been announced by The Civic Trust that Clissold Park has won a much-coveted Green Flag Award, the first ever for Hackney. The Green Flag scheme has been running nationally for nearly ten years now, and the standards are pretty high, so congratulations to Mark White and his staff at Clissold Park for winning a Green Flag on their first try. Community involvement is one of the Green Flag criteria, so we assume that the work of the Clissold Park User Group, with its re-designed website, also helped impress the judges.
