Suber's post about New Zealand's digital library, Matapihi (cultural collections),  https://mx2.arl.org/Lists/SPARC-OAForum/Message/1033.html - sounds exciting. I didn't have much time to spend in Matapihi but what I saw (I input the term tree and looked at pictures mostly) is pretty awesome, http://www.matapihi.org.nz/.  What a lot of effort must have gone into digitizing these images and then creating metadata (catalog records) for them.  Cool! comment []6:39:11 PM
