It's now old news but I've been reading Kaye's Hurrican Katrina blog news about LSU in the wake of the disaster.  I found her link to the PR Newswire's piece about how "Bloggers emerge as information sources in Hurricane's aftermath" and think it's a very neat article.  Blogs as a source of information, hmm? I wonder what some librarians would have to say about this! Another cool information source is the New Orleans flood map - http://mapper.cctechnol.com/floodmap.php - which gives water depth information.
