Broadband in the Navajo Nation The US Department of Agriculture is spending about $20 million on broadband services in rural America.  Some of the money will go to help Native American communities in Utah and other states.  One company involved in the Navajo nation is Skyframes, Inc. which is providing satellite connectivity into northern Arizona.  The Digital Divide Network suggests that the extension of internet services will help unite the Navajo Nation.  The University of New Mexico supports the Native American Distance Education Community Web which is aggressively supporting a variety of wireless projects throughout the area.
