NY Times: "Boston's massive Big Dig project, the most complex and expensive highway project in American history, will not be completely finished until 2004. But commuters can test drive the new network of highways and tunnels without ever getting into a car."

I saw Steppin' in it at the Ark in Ann Arbor with Ben and Julia last Sunday

They are well worth seeing.

I took video and I'm finally able to post it.

In AVI format:

There's an interesting article on ZDnet Anchordesk today about the problem with High Definition Television (HDTV).  We were all supposed to be watching HDTV years ago.  The problem is that it's expensive to broadcast because there aren't enough people that have HDTVs.  People don't own HDTVs because they are expensive and there aren't enough broadcasters sending out the signals (because it is expensive to broadcast).

Classic Chicken and Egg circle.

The article talks about the possibility of a $500 tax rebate to get you to purchase a HDTV...

What's in it for the government? 16 Billion in spectrum licensing.
