Spot on.
I have my degree in Industrial Design because of its ties to usability. At the time I graduated from school there were no usability programs in-state and the computer science and engineering programs didn't cover interface design. Peter ties the two together and I agree completely. Now it is just time to find old copies of the books!
I'll ready anything by Dreyfuss anyday.
"In this chapter, Dreyfuss lays out his process for designing products. What's most intriguing is how what he writes is pretty much a summary of the two-day workshop my company teaches on design methodology. Everything old is new again."
