Rochester Michigan is normally a pretty quiet town. Last night there
was a fire at Derma Vogue, a day spa nestled between Mr. B's Bar and
Green's Art Supplies. Luckily no one was seriously hurt.
The fire started in the basement and eventually consumed the middle and
top floors. I've lived downtown pretty much all of my life and events
like these certainly affect the town. It is a shame that such an old
building may be permanently damaged. Tammy and I had lunch just two
doors down at Brooklyn Pizza just a few hours earlier.
