Yesterday at Point Reyes, the flowers are post-peak at Chimney Rock, and the wind gusted up to 40mph, causing the closing of the steps to the lighthouse.
Here's one of the nicer patches of mule-ears, with Chimney Rock in the background:

The horizon was tilted because the gusts of wind would rock you.
A little further from Chimney Rock, I was shooting all these pictures of the wildflowers, and didn't notice that there was a bird sitting on the bluff about 8 feet away (it was probably too windy for birds to even spend much time in the air.) I turned around, saw the bird with just his head sticking up, and clicked the release shutter button, and by the time the camera captured it, the bird was in flight.

News: Apple executives discuss Final Cut Pro Studio: "At a special event in Las Vegas on Sunday, Apple Computer launched Final Cut Studio, a suite of new applications designed to give its professional users a firm grip on the burgeoning HD market. The suite includes upgraded versions of Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Motion and a new application called Soundtrack Pro."
