This could be enormously helpful or it could be grossly slanderous. Leaning toward the latter...the title alone indicates that most posts will be negative. How about some guidelines?

Good idea. Sometimes improper usage gives us a way out of a sticky situation. This is one of those times.

The Singular "They". "He" has died and gone to the flames of patriarchal hell. The pronoun "he," I mean. But if we accept that "he" is no longer valid as a singular, genderless pronoun, what alternatives exist? I propose the oft-chastised singular usage of "they" as the easiest and most effective replacement for the genderless "he." [kuro5hin.org]
