Personal KM?

This is related to the previous post on social bookmarking. A few years ago, personal KM tools were exemplified by software such as Personal Brain, running on individual computers. Now, with RSS and networked environments, the possibilities are opening up. So "personal" isn't necessarily "private." Even Personal Brain is now BrainEKP (Enterprise Knowledge Platform).

Social bookmarking.

This is another aspect of knowledge management. Still figuring out how best to use it, and how the various social bookmarking services differ/overlap. Once you get the hang of using other people's bookmarks and tags, you can save quite a bit of time in your searches for information -- as long as everyone is tagging in some rational way.

Social bookmarking is a central store, where you can put keywords (tags), discover via "pivot" browsing, and subscribe to link feeds.
