Returns

Other results of note:

  • Land wins as Secretary of State
  • Candice Miller by an astounding 63% over Carl Marlinga
  • The Healthy Michigan proposal is soundly defeated
  • Straight-party voting remains
  • Both Supreme Court justices easily re-elected
  • Hood wins Court of Appeals - First Judicial District
  • Schuette wins Court of Appeals - Fourth Judicial District

All judicial candidates running unopposed have won handily.

A surprising pair of results on the national level: Minnesota elects Coleman as Senator and Pawlenty as governor, Massachusetts chooses Romney as governor.  When the GOP makes such inroads in traditional liberal states, the Dems have some serious problems.
