There is a lot of attention being paid to the Richard Drew photo this week, for good reason.  The most prominent is The Falling Man, a longish essay in Esquire.  But the following comment in Drew's own piece in the L.A. Times hit hard:  
One editor who objected to my photo said, "Americans don't want to look at pictures of death and dying over their morning cornflakes." I disagree. I think they're fine with it, as long as the victims aren't American.
