On the main blog for the former course I found this post by prof. Mark Hemphill, which lists a number of socio-technical shifts
that we are experiencing as the Internet makes its way into many
aspects of our life: as content goes from contrived to wild, from
perfection to experimentation, the user experience goes from watching
to trying out, from lecture to discussion, etc. Funny how contrasts
expressed in few words like this can be very meaningful.
