Happy 2003. This is the year my son will be born and the year that I stop paying for every flight hour I log. That's right, we are having a boy. No name chosen yet. He will be here the end of April. Of course, I am very excited. I hope he gets his mother's good looks and my math skills. If it were the other way around, we would be in trouble. :-)
I am still waiting to find out if the state is going to hire me. I am told very often (almost daily) that "today we will make an announcement." It would be very cruel for them to string me along like this for so long if they are not going to offer me a job. I don't know what is going to happen, but I won't be surprised either way. I will just be glad to have some closure to it all. Of course, I still want to work there.
