This includes software we are currently using such as RedHat Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Tomcat, JBOSS, etc. I will also include issues regarding enterprise web application development utilizing JAVA and J2EE. Here is an interesting site that is an open directory for the internet.  I haven't looked to closely at it, but it may have some value as opposed to all the search engines.

Here's a great ComputerWorld article describing Sun's direction in selling open source desktops based on Linux and using Java card technology for security.  According to McNealy,  "We think we can give you a price that's half the cost [of a Windows PC] at acquisition".  Not a solution for every environment, but definetely something worth keeping an eye on.
