With the new release of RedHat 8.0 I downloaded the ISO images. As part of the portal project we have been using Connectix software to allow for a virtual PC without having to have all the software individually installed on the developers PCs. There is also some software from VMware that allows virtual PCs. Though this is not free software, it does provide an exceptional way to test software configurations without having to mess up your primary OS. I will have W2K as my host OS and try 98 and Linux as guest operating systems.
This wil be a great chance to look at RH 8.0 without having to worry about partitions, upgrading, etc.
