As a response to an emial from our ITS director, I downloaded and installed Plone on my PC. It is an open source content management system. You can read David Fletcher's blog for a more complete description of what this will do.
It appears to be a very robust package. I will be installing this on Linux as time permits to see how well it works in this enviornment. No question that W2K works like a dream.
I have had a difficult time connecting to the plone site. I finally went to sourceforge to get the software.
