Tip for using SendTo context menu in Windows Explorer

I just started using this tip, and it has proven to be quite useful so I thought I would share...

  1. Select Start->Run... menu item
  2. Type "SendTo" in the Open field
  3. Select the Tools->Folder Options menu
  4. Click on the View tab
  5. For the "Hidden files and folders" entry, make sure the "Show hidden files and folders" radio button is selected, then click OK button
  6. Go up one directory
  7. Copy SendTo folder (right click on folder->Copy)
  8. Open SendTo folder
  9. Paste shortcut to SendTo folder (right click->Paste Shortcut)
Now, any time you wish to add destination applications to the SendTo folder - just locate the application using Windows Explorer, and send it to the SendTo shortcut and voila!  The destination application is now a target in the SendTo context menu.
