> Chile Show
It was two weeks ago aleady, but I wanted to mention the International Zesty Foods Show, which I checked out that Saturday. It was like a MacWorld, but all the booths were offering tastes of every sort of salsa, dip, au doerve, and spicy dessert that you could imagine. Some links I brought home with me:
Texas Heat Ranch, sporting a wide array of hot souces and more
Chef Matts -- yummy BBQ Sauces
BajaBlue Foods -- Southwest Style Crabcakes
Cool Foods Company's -- HOTCORN spicy popcorn
Samba salsa -- fresh
Salsa XoChitl - tasty!
Winston's Hot Pepper Sauce -- Austin's own, I'll stay stocked up on this one.
Peppers -- National Champion salsa maker
South Texas Milling -- great cornbread; a whole line of ground cornmeal products. I asked about real grits, and he said it's coming next year. Yay!
...and much more. Quite a treat.
