Felicity and I went to the Bacchus Wine Bar on Sunday afternoon. I can't believe we haven't been before at this time of the week. We live a minute or two away, and have been past walking long the beach, and we knew full well for the last couple of years that they had blues acts there on Sundays.
So we finally went last Sunday and saw Vertigo Blues, James Meston's duo with the drummer from his more usual Sweet Baby James Trio. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed it. Good wine, good food, great music.
We're going to go every Sunday now if we can.
