Women In Refrigerators (or They Don't Really Treat Female Characters In Comics Very Well Do They?)
Ah at last I see Gail Simone's infamous webpage regarding the poor treatment that female characters have suffered in comic books.  I do not recall where I saw reference to it but someone was complaining about the poor light that it cast on comic books in general.  The rather odd title of the webpage refers to an incident in Green Lantern Vol. 3.  Ron Marz, the writer of that particular issue, has rather an interesting point of view on female characters in comics and how they're generally treated.

Is Microsoft Unbeatable?

Is the PC software game Microsoft's to lose?  Robert X. Cringely seems to think that it is.  He has some fascinating thoughts to share on the subject.  I remember reading Clayton M. Christensen's The Innovator's Dilemma in which Mr. Christensen remarked on the fact that at one time Sears was seen by almost all business analysts as "doing everything right" and they nearly went out of business "doing everything right."  On the other hand one thinks that maybe Bill Gates and company are smart enough to have read that book too.
