An Interview With an Excellent Comic Writer An interview with Geoff Johns at SlushFactory. Geoff Johns is one of my favorite writers working in comic books right now. He's currently working on JSA, Hawkman, Flash and (soon) the Avengers. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is about his writing that appeals to me.
I did meet him at the May 2002 Motor City Comics Convention in Novi, Michigan. Nice fellow. Of course, one would have to be a true jerk not to at least be polite to one's fans. But having met "my public" on a few occassions after shows I've acted in, I know it can be a trying experience to sit there and listen to people gush about how good you are at what you do. I understand that people are trying to be nice; it just makes me uncomfortable to hear it.
