The Chicago Teachers' Center has been running its own kind of experiments using children from its partner schools in Chicago as researchers. For the past three years students have participated in the work of researchers in environmental studies through On-Line Expeditions. Students have particpated "virtually" in expeditions to the Amazon and Antarctica. This year On-Line Expeditions will return to the Amazon and students are expected to be there at the end of the trip to work in a scientific station ant the end of the Amazon.
