There is a nice mention of IdealsWork in Thomas Malone's new book, The Future of Work:
One of the most intriguing efforts in using new technologies to increase transparency is a Web site called IdealsWork. This site helps consumers compare the social and environmental performance of thousands of product brands according to the user's own individual goals.
It's nice to see the good work of Sam Pierce, a Pioneer Entrepreneur, and his colleagues recognized.
